Towzer Band!

Bring along your own instruments and join the amazing Towzer Band!Learning the tunes Mick, Penny & the gang have chosen for you.  Approximate ability grade 2 upwards and able to play several tunes confidently on your instrument would be useful.  Share your music at the end of the 4th workshop.


This workshop is aimed at the first-time player.  Learn how to play the bodhran using the single sticking technique, explore the basic rhythms used in folk tunes (reels and jigs)Small bodhrans and beaters / tippers will be provided in the workshop but you are welcome to bring your own.Tutor Rob Wheatley 

Circus Skills

Juggling, poi, hoola hooping, spinning plates, stilts – you name it – it’s there for you to have a go with at the special workshops over the weekend as well as “have a go” anytime at the circus stall on The Festival Green.  Some come run away to the Circus for an hour!
