Take the Bus

We would like you to travel to Towersey by the most environmentally friendly method and help us to reduce our carbon footprint. If you can walk to us then great. You could try trains and buses (all are close by) or perhaps your bicycle.   The festival bus (beautiful vintage London Routemaster) runs right through the festival and picks up from Thame (local town) where all local stations are serviced by local bus routes - so the connections are easy!

If you have to come by car then perhaps you could give a friend a lift www.liftshare.com.

Whatever you choose we look forward to seeing you at a sustainable Towersey.

The Festival Site address for satnavs is Towersey Playing Field, Thame Road, Towersey, Oxon, OX9 3QF (Please do not send correspondence to this address, it is an empty field for most of the year!)

Drivers could use the A418 from Aylesbury, the A40 & A418 from Oxford or the M40.  If you are travelling from the north Junction 8a is best.  If you are travelling from the south Junction 5 is best.  That should get you to Towersey.  If not, ring 01629 827016 and we’ll direct you!

As you approach Towersey you will pick up yellow directions signs for "Towersey Festival".  Please follow the signs directing you to the FREE Festival car park.

If you are coming from Chinnor or the M40 please come round the Thame by-pass and not through the village.
