Travel

Our Festival site is less than one mile from Thame town centre.  If you arrive by public transport the site is a 20 minute walk to the Festival Site.   Shops are on site and if you need more, Thame is a short walk away! However you choose to get to us, we look forward to seeing you at a sustainable Towersey.

By Car

Leave your car at home or if your car is really needed share your trip with another traveller. See www.liftshare.com. If you do have to drive, when you arrive at Towersey Festival Site – Park your car for FREE and leave it there until it is time to pack up and go home.

The Festival Site address for satnavs is Thame Showground, Oxon, OX9 3JL (Please do not send correspondence to this address, it is an empty field for most of the year!)

Find us on GoogleMaps here.

Drivers could use the A418 from Aylesbury, the A40 & A418 from Oxford or the M40.  If you are travelling from the north Junction 8a is best.  If you are travelling from the south Junction 5 is best.  That should get you near the Festival where you will pick up directions signs for "Towersey Festival".

By Train

The nearest railway stations are Princes Risborough or Haddenham & Thame Parkway on the London Marylebone line to Birmingham.  Then a quick Taxi (3 miles) or jump on the regular bus service to Thame.  Check out  http://www.chilternrailways.co.uk/

By Bus

If you are coming by bus then there is a stop in Thame (1/2 a mile from the site) for buses from Aylesbury and Oxford.  Plan your Journey here.

By Bike
