camping & accommodation

If you are camping, please read the site descriptions, choose the preferred site for you and your party and tick the right box in the booking section.

Site 1 - For those who want to enjoy a family site without cars or caravans; with the sounds of live acoustic music and reasonable consideration to neighbours.  Site 1 becomes quiet soon after the final event finishes.  Tents are pitched between Concert Stage and Ceilidh Tent.  All vehicles are allowed on Site 1 to unload camping equipment only.  They must then be removed and parked in the specially designated FREE car park for Site 1 campers.  Cars will not be allowed back onto Site 1 until 2pm on Bank Holiday Monday and then only for the collection of camping equipment, after which they should be removed to the designated FREE car park.

Site 2 - For those who want to enjoy a family site where cars, caravans and tents are together.  We have a 5mph speed limit and the sounds of live acoustic music with reasonable consideration to neighbours.  Site 2 becomes quiet soon after the final event finishes in Festival Dance House.  Only a 4 minute walk from Site 1.  A small part of Site 2 is within one road width of Site 3, which is clearly marked.

Site 3 - For those who want to enjoy later nights and lie-ins in the morning.  Cars, caravans and tents all welcome.  We have a 5mph speed limit and the sounds of live acoustic music with reasonable consideration to neighbours.  Site 3 becomes quiet no later than 2am.  Only a 3 minute walk from Site 1.  Site 3 is situated in a designated area between the FREE car park and Site 2 overflow (NB - this is a new position to that used in 2008 and 2009).

NB - If you are camping you can collect your ticket/s from 9am on Thursday 26 August 2010.  We will queue your cars in the car park near Site 2 from 9am on Thursday 26 August 2010.  ALL camp sites will open at 12noon and not before on that day.  Festival staff and some early working stewards will already be onsite when you arrive.  On Site 2 Caterers and some toilets will be open from 9am.

All Campers - Remember noise travels further than you think.  Please consider your neighbours when playing live acoustic music, radios or CD players.

Camping on the Festival sites must be paid for separately and is only available to Full Season ticket holders.  The cost of camping is per person and must be booked at the same time as ordering your ticket.  It covers five nights (Thursday to Monday inclusive).  Subject to availability.

Caravans and motorhomes are welcome on Site 2 and 3 only.  Trailer tents are OK on Site 1.  When your choice of site is full you will be allocated to another site.  If you do not state which site you wish to be on you will be allocated to Site 2.

All camp sites will open at 12noon on Thursday 26 August and not before.

If you don’t fancy camping there are B&Bs and hotels in Thame, Princes Risborough and Aylesbury.
